bitter sweet stories resurfaces

Since the washing machine and the dryer are broken, I'm not encouraged to drop a sweat at gym. Being my pampered self, I wouldn't bring myself to washing my own stinky clothes. So for a couple of days, I'm going to stay flabby until help comes to fix the broken machines.
It has been a while since I have had the urge to write again. Since the hecticness in our household has gone down a little, it gives me the opportunity to think about ongoing issues, current development and future plans. Nothing new to be frank - they are just the same old things reccuring on the surface of my mind.
So my friend finally gets a degree, and now queuing for interviews with some local (foreign to me!) banks. Who would have thought that she'd be sucked into the banking industry just like what had happened to me. Let's hope that the industry abroad is much better than the one here, or at least let us hope that the department she's joining is much more exciting than the one I have been stuck in for nearly 3 years.
I'm looking for new avenues, of which I'm not very certain of. I want to try something new, something exciting, and something which would give my youth back. Well, not so much of the last point, but feeling younger is something many wish to have after reaching the quarter of a century point. Figuring out these new avenues is a real pain in the bottom as I can never figure out something substantial, something sustainable, and something profitable that I can jump into.
I need guidance and more exposure. I need to make a change before the new year approaches.
Wish me luck.
